The Value of a Wise Woman

September 25, 2017

We can be our own worst enemies.

When we rely on our own understanding instead of trusting in the Lord, we can end up causing our own demise.

We do not see the full picture or have the greater understanding that God does of our situation, this is why we trust Him to lead us and guide us. When we surrender to fear and frustration, these emotions are not of God. They are obstacles of the enemy.

Proverbs 14:1 is speaking about a wife, but this scripture is important for everyone within a household to remember.

Even if we feel justified in our anger and cruelty, we must remember that we are potentially destroying the people we love, one cruel word at a time.

The power to do good or cause ruin both reside within you. It's important to take great caution in our words and actions toward our spouse and children.
