"In the same way, there is joy in the presence of God's angels when even one sinner repents." Luke 15:10
In Luke 15:8-10, Jesus tells the Parable of the Lost Coin:
"Or suppose a woman has 10 silver coins and loses one. Won't she light a lamp and sweep the entire house and search carefully until she finds it? And when she finds it she will call in her friends and neighbors and say, 'Rejoice with me because I have found my lost coin.' In the same way, there is joy in the presence of God's angels when even one sinner repents."
Sharing God's love with the lost is one of the most important duties we can do as Christians. The Lord desires salvation for everyone!
It can feel disheartening if your spouse or other family members haven't given their lives to the Lord. It is important that we pray diligently for the lost, asking God to make His presence known to them.
It is also important that we reflect our love for God in how we treat others.
Demonstrate God's grace and mercy in your own life - even to those that may have hurt you.
We can become an example of the Lord's love to those who have not received it yet for their own lives.
The love and grace we share today may encourage others to seek the source of our joy - The Lord!
